X-Pac Arrested for Possession of Meth with Intention to Sell
On April 29, Sean Waltman, best known as former WWF/E wrestler X-Pac has been arrested for possession of drugs in Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). Sean Waltman was carrying 38 capsules of amphetamine or methamphetamine, three chocolate bars made of weed, and cigarettes made of liquid THC.
Because of $736.10 in Waltman’s possession, police also added intent to sell to his charges. According to TMZ Sports, police suspect that he was making a trip to the United Kingdom to sell the aforementioned drugs.
Possession with intent to sell is a felony. If Waltman is convicted, he could spend up to four years in prison.
Sean Waltman is no stranger to drug problems. Most famously, in an interview with Steve Austin, Waltman admitted to shooting up an unspecified drug before a match against AJ Styles. He also admitted to taking meth. In 2015, Waltman said that in lieu of multiple relapses, he was sober.
Waltman has been consistently wrestled as X-pac in the last few years. As recently as last year, he appeared for promotions such as Wrestlecon, Ring of Honor (ROH), and CHIKARA. His most recent appearance in World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) was an appearance at WrestleMania 31 during the Sting vs. HHH match where he was part of the NWO vs. D-Generation X story.
Although best known as X-Pac in the WWF, Waltman has also wrestled as The 1-2-3 Kid, and Syxx in the former WCW.
As of this writing, Waltman has made no statement on his arrest.
