Opening Match: Rich Swann Vs. Ariya Daivari

Rich Swann and Ariya Daivari has been going back and forth along side their respective partners for a few weeks now. Swann, originally set to face the no-show Dar so Daivari stepped up for his partner. The match begin as a seesaw battle with both men now having each other well scouted. Daivari was in control for the majority of the match. Swan continuously fought back with big kicks and a devastating Michinoku Driver.

Davari relying on his aggression and close to Victory with a Frog Splash. Swan soaking up the energy of the WWE Universe found the path to victory with a beautiful Phoenix Splash.

Winner by pinfall: Rich Swann

After the match cameras cough up with Alicia Fox. As Fox explains the where bouts of her boyfriend Noam Dar, Fox is interrupted by Swann. As Swann pokes fun at Alicia for her boyfriend being MIA, another delivery came with a gift for Fox. One seems to think that this secret admirer will come to light very soon.

In the locker room Mustafa Ali prepares for his match in a few moments. Drew Gulak comes in and decides to give Ali a “pep talk.” Gulak explains how 205 Live should be a safer working environment and Ali shouldn’t cave into the pressure of the WWE Universe to perform high risks moves just to entertain. As Gulak continued his “epiphany” he found himself preaching to an empty choir as Ali was already heading to the ring for his match.

Singles Match: Mustafa Ali Vs. Brandon Scott

This was clearly an enhancement match as Ali’s opponent is way to small for a squash match. Ali was able to showcase his diverse skill. (Personally I believe Ali could be next line for the big push.) With Gulak keeping an eye on 205 Live product from the monitors in the lockers, Gulak watched as Ali attempted to mount some offence. Ali barely breaking a sweat not only regains controls but finishes off Scott with his picture perfect Inverted 450.

Winner by pinfall: Mustafa Ali

Final Match: Akira Tozawa Vs. Brian Kendrick

Akira Tozawa has been waiting to get his hands on Brian Kendrick for months and Tozawa wastes no time as he opened up a massive onslaught to the former Cruiserweight Champion. Kendrick fights for dear life to mount an offence.

Kendrick now in control looks to continue his lessons upon Tozawa. Akira tries to pick up some momentum the help of the WWE Universe but Kendrick being the wily veteran surprisingly lands Slice Bread #2.

Brian goes for the win locking in the Captain’s Hook. Akira with fight left in him breaks free of the submission. Kendrick knowing how resilient Akira is tries for another Slice Bread #2, this time off the top rope.

As the two battle for positions, Kendrick gets the upper hand knocking Akira down. Tozawa fiery back fires as he charges in looking to take out Kendrick. Brian simply moves out the way allowing Akira to crash into the exposed turnbuckle then rolling up the dazed Tozawa for the win.

Winner by pinfall: Brian Kendrick

The King Addresses The WWE Universe:

The King opens up in reflection on how he had to struggle through adversity. Neville believe he’s taken 205 Live on his back and carried the Cruiserweight Title into WrestleMania 33 for the first time in several years.

With that Neville feels disrespected because the WWE Universe wants a jester to dethrone the King.

Neville then showed how 205 Live would be nothing without him. Just a Neville began to dig the knife deeper into the character of Austin Aries, out comes A Double to confront the champ. Aries comes in giving Neville high praises Aries belives that they are alike being the smaller man in a company made for giants.

How both had to take what was theirs. Just as a sense of mutual respect was built, Neville levels Aries.

As the champ put the boot to his Wrestlemania foe, the King looked back wanting to make a statement and finish off Aries before Sunday. Aries explodes to his feet and blasts Neville with the mic.

Aries gives Neville a taste of what to expect Sunday with the Last Chancery. Neville quickly breaks free, fleeing with his title saving himself for this Sunday.
