Want to be in The Expanse TV Series? Here Are the Job Requirements!
Dang! It’s been awhile since I’ve last dropped anything about The Expanse.
Not to worry, though. I’ve been keeping my ground to the ear. Checking out all the latest news. Keeping up with blogs, etc…etc… I’ve even started a new Twitter account and have started following the whole cast from it (can we say STALKER?).
All of this is in preparation for the upcoming Season 2 premiere on February 8 at 10 PM.
DOUBLE FEATURE. GET READY.
Besides getting to the bottom of why “Donkey balls” is the Mars Congressional Republic Navy’s code word, I’m looking forward to seeing where Miller (Thomas Jane) and Holden (Steven Strait) end up. Of course, I want to keep up with Naomi (Dominique Tipper), Amos (Wes Chatham), and Alex (Cas Anvar).
And don’t forget all of the turmoil that’s been building on Earth, with Chrisjen Avarasala (Shohreh Aghdashloo) stuck right in the middle of it all.
I hope you also got watch the short 3-minute video on what the actors go through while filming the show for us. It seems there’s a lot more to being an actor than I thought. Like, a lot of shitty things you have to go through or put up with just to get that amazing final product.
Good luck to those of you who may be auditioning. Remember me!
Season 1 Recap (off the top of my head).
No post about the upcoming season would be complete without a recap of the last. I’m going to sum it all up for you from the top of my head, no research or fact-checking what-so-ever. Don’t worry…I’m an expert at this.
So, we meet Holden on The Canterbury. We’re also introduced to Detective Miller. As the episodes progress, we begin to learn that Holden’s trials and tribulations have something to do with Miller’s investigation into the mysterious death of an ambassador’s daughter.
Meanwhile, on Earth, we follow Avarasala as she negotiates the twists and turns of politics and government relationships. She, too, is one step behind a growing mystery. There’s a new threat in the galaxy, but no one seems to know who they are, where they came from, or what they want. All that’s known is they’ve caused quite a commotion that’s set Earth, Mars, and the citizens living far out in the Asteroid Belt on a collision course.
War is approaching.
