Sarah Paulson to Star in Amazon Studios “Lost Girls”
After taking out a SAG Award for “The People vs. O.J. Simpson“, and becoming the first person to win all five major tv awards in one year. Including an Emmy, Golden Globe, Critics Choice and the Television Association Award for her outstanding performance as Marcia Clark and now Sarah Paulson has been cast in Amazon Studios‘ new serial killer drama ” Lost Girls.”
“Lost Girls” will be directed by documentary filmmaker Liz Garbus who is making her narrative feature film debut. Michael Werwie wrote the script which is based on Robert Kolker’s 2013 nonfiction book about a mother searching for her missing daughter in Long Island who makes the grisly discovery in the woods where the murdered bodies of four girls have been dumped 2010.
Kolkier’s book, published in 2014, details the world of online escorts and the search for a serial killer who remains at large. Pamela Hirsch will serve as executive producer with Kevin McCormick, and David Kennedy who are producing it through their production company Langley Park.
Paulson is also starring in the highly anticipated 2018 film Oceans Eight, which also stars Sandra Bullock, Anne Hathaway and Cate Blanchett. Paulson also stars in “Rebel in the Rye” with Nicholas Hoult, which premiered at Sundance. Hollywood just can’t get enough of incredibly talented Paulson right now.
