New Supervillain – Mr. Sinister Coming to Marvel Movie-verse

So Matt Shaw‘s gonna slap me for this, but I have no FUX-ing clue who Mr. Sinister is. Luckily Matt lives all the way up in Canada for some strange reason so he can’t touch me down here in Houston.

Anyway, when I saw this breaking story about Mr. Sinister joining the Marvel movie universe, I thought I’d take it on. You know, branch out a bit.

Simon Kinberg guarantees Mr. Sinister’s future appearance

“The short answer is yes. We’d love to see Sinister. I think he is one of the great untapped villains in the X-Men universe, and we do have plans to introduce him into the world.”

If you can remember, the end credits of X-Men Apocalypse teased Sinister’s appearance when we caught a glimpse of the Essex Corp. employees collecting Wolverine’s blood.

Since then, it was thought that Sinister would finally appear in Logan but, according to Nerd Reactor, multiple sources have confirmed this will not happen.

According to Logan producer, Simon Kinberg, “The short answer is yes. We’d love to see Sinister. I think he is one of the great untapped villains in the X-Men universe, and we do have plans to introduce him into the world.”

So when and where and in what capacity Sinister will appear has yet to be decided. Rumors of an appearance in Deadpool 2 or any of the upcoming X-Men features seem to be the most likely places we’ll finally get see him.

No news yet on who is being tapped to portray Mr. Sinister. Feel free to leave your vote in the comments section.

Who is Mr. Sinister?

For my sake, I thought I’d include a short history of the Marvel comics supervillain.

Created by Chris Claremont and Marc Silvestri, Mr. Sinister first appeared in Uncanny X-Men #221 (Sept. 1987).

“The costume… the look… the face… it’s what would scare a child. Even when he was designed, he wasn’t what you’d expect in a guy like that.” – Chris Claremont

I’m not going to lie, I wanted to really go in-depth and tell the background of Mr. Sinister. But when I read his biography and history I knew I wouldn’t be able to do him justice, especially since I’m still new to the comic book universe(s).

So I’m gonna do the next best thing and show you a video about him.
