Nerdy Craft Time With Brenda: Sailor Moon Crescent Wand

Hello Everyone! Today I thought I may change things up a bit and do a little anime craft time if that’s ok. Today I want to show a video on how to make a cosplay Sailor Moon crescent wand! OOOH I am super excited.

For those who are not aware, Sailor Moon was the first anime I ever watched, and I looooooooved it. Watched it religiously never missing a new episode on cartoon network. My favorite episode was when Serena transforms into Sailor Moon for the first time in front of Darien (Tuxedo Mask) and still gives me the chills to this day.

Today we will be watching a video from Timeloveslemons who shows us how to make a Crescent wand out of molding clay. Now this seems easy enough, just a few items and more imagination really. I don’t work with clay myself but it looks easy enough and for a piece of Sailor Moon cosplay, I am sure I would be willing to try. Besides, to buy a life-sized replica of her wand is way out of my budget; this version is much easier on the wallet (about $14 altogether).

The Things Needed:

  • Crayola Air dry clay
  • Molding Tools
  • Acrylic Paint set
  • Modge Podge

So there you have it, watch this video, make your own sailor moon wands, and post some pictures so I can see the awesomeness that is your creations. ^_^
