Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Racing To Nintendo Switch
Nintendo has confirmed that an improved version of Mario Kart 8, initially released for the Wii U in 2014, will be racing its way onto the Nintendo Switch on April 28th.
All the tracks, characters and DLC content from the Wii U version will be available in the game, as well as completely new content. New characters such as King Boo, Dry Bones and Inkling Boy and Girl from the Splatoon series will be available to play, and it looks like Battle Mode is finally getting the update it deserves with Balloon Battle and Bob-Omb Blast game modes. New tracks such as Urchin Underpass have been added, and as previously alluded to, players can now carry two items simultaneously with items from older games also making a comeback.
In addition, the game will support 8 player local wireless multiplayer, and will take advantage of the Joy-Cons by offering split screen gameplay using one system.
