J.J Abrams and Stephen King Will Once Again Team Up For Hulu Limited Series ‘Castle Rock.’

J.J. Abrams and Stephen King will once again collaborate for another Hulu limited series, the last time the dream team worked together was for Abrams 11.22.63, the anthology series will be based on King’s extensive body of work. The series is titled Castle Rock and is being written by Manhattan creator Sam Shaw and Dustin Thomason.

Castle Rock from Abrams, Bad Robot and Warner TV is based on short stories by King, and its namesake is from the fictional area in King’s native Maine, which serves as the setting for some Novels, Novellas, and Short Stories. Check out the teaser below

The teaser also makes reference to some King’s works including The Shawshank Redemption, Misery, The Shining, Pennywise and more. No other details, including when we can expect a release date have been revealed.

King did tweet that “J.J. Abrams and I want to invite you to take a trip to Castle Rock. Soon. Be afraid.”

If you are a King and Abrams fan, then like me, you will have high expectations for Castle Rock, and I can tell you just from watching the teaser, I think we are going to be in for a real treat!!
