Finn Jones Hints at Iron Fist’s Crucial Role in The Defenders
The final member of The Defenders arrived over the weekend as Marvel finally released the Iron Fist Netflix series. Despite Critics big and small absolutely hating the series word from fans is that they like it. I have only watched the first two episodes and so far so good.
Iron Fist actor Finn Jones will also be a part of the upcoming The Defenders Netflix series that is supposed to be released sometime later this year. Jones recently talked with IGN about how important Iron Fist is in the series saying
“Danny is incredible pivotal to the whole narrative of The Defenders which you’ll see. In terms of dynamic in the group, he is most vulnerable, most optimistic, and most reckless of the group,”
Jones has also been hinting about the importance of the role to other outlets such as Entertainment Tonight. Jones said that Rand would be the one who informs the other team members of the cities bigger threat.
“Danny understands the bigger threat because he’s been dealing it all throughout his life and all throughout season one of Iron Fist,” Jones said. “So, when he meets The Defenders, he’s the one who really drives the group to understand the bigger picture.”
Marvel’s Iron Fist Synopsis (IMDB): Danny Rand returns to New York City after being missing for years, trying to reconnect with his past and his family legacy. He fights against the criminal element corrupting his world around him with his incredible kung-fu mastery and ability to summon the awesome power of the fiery Iron Fist.
The Defenders will consist of Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter), Daredevil (Charlie Cox), Luke Cage (Mike Colter), and as mentioned already Iron Fist. The first season of Jessica Jones and Luke Cage are available right now on Netflix as well as 2 seasons of Daredevil to help you prepare for the upcoming series later this year.
