TNA has become Impact Wrestling under the Anthem banner. There had been a lot of talent unhappy with the company’s new direction. According to Dave Meltzer of PWInsider Crazzy Steve received a contract from the WWE. This is what helped make the final decision for Steve to leave Impact Wrestling.

Steve tends to follow the successful path of Bobby Roode, Austin Aries and Eric Young joining NXT.

There isn’t any word on what his role will be in the company. Many speculate the possibility of Steve joining SAnitY making a smooth transition from Decay.

Crazzy Steve made his TNA debut with a stable called The Menagerie. Steve began as a lovable fan favorite with his silly antics and hard nose wrestling style for a small competitor.

The fun wouldn’t last long after The Menagerie dismantled Steve would later turn heel attacking Tigre Uno.

Steve joined a new stable called Decay along with Rosemary and veteran Abyss. Decay immediately made a near for themselves attacking The Wolves. Steve and Decay carried that momentum winning the TNA Tag Team Titles from Beer Money later that year.

Decay lost the tag titles to The Broken Hardy’s at The Great War. The feud truly put Steve and Decay on the map as one of the top superstars in the company.
