Bates Motel Season 5 Sneak Peek Trailer Released and It’s Positively Creepy!


Get excited mommy’s little psychos! A&E have released a sneak peek at for the upcoming fifth and final season of the show. We get to see what Norman’s (Freddie Highmore ) home looks like without Mother in it, and we also get to find out what Norman has done with his mother’s body and my little psycho’s it is the stuff of nightmares. Just they way we like it!

We have spent the past four years watching Norman’s slow descent into madness, which began as seemingly benign blackouts and over time evolved into the disturbed Norman we see today. Noman killed his mother at the end of season four. The Shows executive producers confirmed at Comic-Con that season five will indeed be the final season and said: ” From the end of the first season, Carlton Curse and I both had the exact same instinct of five seasons”. Ehrin also confirmed that they had had a “specific” and “beatutiful” ending in mind.

The trailer is positively creepy and gives us a look into precisely where Norman is at mentally. Bates Motel season 5, picks up nearly two years on and Norman is no longer a boy, he is a grown man now and living a double life. From the outside Norman Bates is a happy, well-adjusted member of the White Pine Bay community, but at home, his intense blackouts continue to increase as “Mother” (Vera Farmiga ) threatens to take over completely. Dylan (Max Thierot) and Emma (Olivia Cooke) since leaving White Pine Bay are unaware of Norma’s death and Norman’s complete descent into psychosis, but unfortunately for them, they will be drawn back into the dangerous insanity of Norman. Sheriff Alex Romero (Nestor Carbonell) incarcerated for perjury, is waiting for the chance to destroy Norman and an avenge the murder of his true love and wife Norma Bates.

We can also expect some new faces at Bates Motel in season 5 which will threaten to unravel his dark secrets. We will meet the Iconic Marion Crane portrayed by Rihanna, along with a new couple to town Madeleine Loomis portrayed by Isabelle McNally and her husband Sam Loomis portrayed by Austin Nichols. There will also be a new Sheriff in White Pine Bay Dana Greene portrayed by Brooke Smith. All of which threaten to exposes and unravel Norman’s secret life. Caleb Calhoun portrayed by Kenny Johnson and Chick Hogan portrayed by Ryan Hurst will also return for season 5.
