Lets jump right on in with this week’s episode of 205 Live. We start off the show with a recap of Austin Aries becoming the #1 contender for Neville’s WWE Cruiserweight Title at Wrestlemania 33, which is only 12 days away.

The recap is followed up with an interview with the current Cruiserweight champion Neville. The King has decided to give himself a warm-up match with Mustafa Ali. The champ chose Ali for his insolence last week. Neville is going to take this “victory” into Wrestlemania and make Austin Aries bow down at his feet.

Opening Match: TJ Perkins Vs. Tony Nese

There is no love lost between these two especially after last weeks Fatal 5 Way. The opening of this match was back and forth with Tony Nese using his power, but it was TJ Perkins taking early control with his speed. Perkins looked for the early victory with a Crucifix submission, transitioning into a Crucifix pin. Nese, not only kicks out but lifts Perkins into the air and brings him down with a Gutbuster.

Nese begins to squeeze the air out of Perkins with his patent Body Scissors. Perkins quickly fights back but Nese was still fresh and knocks TJ back down. Nese continues to apply the pressure utilizing a Reverse Chinlock. Nese explodes sending Perkins into the corner with great force exposing the weakened lower back. Nese follows up with a series of vicious kicks. Perkins evades Nese’s onslaught with a nice Neckbreaker. Both men battle to get to their feet. Perkins with his second wind lands a variety of moves forcing Nese to take a break on the outside.

Nese goes for the win with a Springboard Moonsault but there’s still fight left in Perkins. Nese senses the end is near and tries for the Running Nese. Perkins escapes and looked for the finish as well with the Detonation Kick. Nese breaks free but winds up caught in the middle if the ring in an Armbar. Nese still powerful despite the high intensity if the march breaks free. TJ sprints to corner and delivers the Wrecking Ball Kick, Nese still manages to kick out. TJ tries for another Detonation Kick, this time Nese reverses it into a German Suplex into the turnbuckle. Nese this time is  successful with Running Nese and gets the well eared victory.

Winner by pinfall: Tony Nese

Cameras caught up with Drew Gulak to elaborate on his comments made after his lost last week. Gulak came to the revelation that 205 Live isn’t the problem, the problem was the WWE Universe. Gulak believes the WWE Universe only glorifies the high flying tactics which puts the 205 Live stars at risk. Drew has an epiphany for a solution but it seems we will have to waithe on what that solution is.

Singles Match: Akira Tozawa Vs. An Enhancement Talent

Tozawa getting the win with his German Suplex.

Akira Tozawa came into that this match already frustrated due to another lesson by Brian Kendrick. Last night on Raw Tazowna wasn’t able to compete beacuse he couldn’t enter reenter the cointrt due to his passport missing with Kendrick just so happening to find. This match ended so fast we didn’t even get a chance to get Akira’a opponents name. The bell rinds and Tozawa lands the Snap German Suplex for the win.

Winner by pinfall: Akira Tozawa

After the match Akira calls out Kendrick or a fight. Of course Kendrick is a now show. Tozawa decides to take the fight to Kendrick in the back. As Akira was heading to the back a Security Officer out of nowhere blind side tackles Akira into the barricades. The Security Officer continued to beat Tozawa while realign itself to be Kendrick. In-Ring Segment With Austin Aries

Aries confidently as always enters the ring to address the WWE Universe and Neville. The WWE Universe welcomes Aries with the chant of Austin Aries. Aries feels being that Neville is boring and only complains he was going to once again interview himself.

Austin Aries in ring interview.

Aries entertaining as always continued to poke fun at the champion. “The King” had heard enough and made way to ring to confront his Wrestlemania opponent. As both men verbally bashed each other Neville had had enough and wanted Aries to leave “his” ring. Aries had none better, not only was going to leave the ring, Aries was going to give the WWE Universe a treat by sitting back at commentary one more time to call Neville’s match.

Main Event: Neville Vs. Mustafa Ali

Ali using his acrobatic style tries to get in the head of the champ with no avail. Neville showing no respect for Ali turned his focus to Aries making sure he was watching. Neville proceeds to the top ropes and tossed the dazed Ali with a Release German Suplex.

Instead of taking the now east victory, The King decides to truly make and example out of Mustafa. Neville grabs Ali and flings him into the ring post on the the outside. Neville slowly brings Ali towards the announce not wanting Aries to miss noting and tossed him back into the ring. With a evil grin at his advisary at Wrestlemania, Neville locks in the Rings Of Saturn to an unconscious Ali for the win.

This week’s episode was short and sweet with the emphasis on the title match at Mania.

Hopefully Tozawa and Kendrick gets to settle their score at “The Grandaddy Of Them All” because I know they will put on a great match.
